Willie "Billy" Wade Giddens

Mr. Willie "Billy" Giddens, age 76 of Pearson, Ga., passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Pruitt Health in Fitzgerald, Ga., following a short illness.

Mr. Giddens was born January 6, l945, son of the late J. C. and Frankie Lee Giddens. He had made his home in Pearson his entire life and worked as welder for many years and later as a security guard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening and attended Red Bluff Primitive Baptist Church.

Sister:  Mary Ina Eversole and husband, George of Pearson, Ga.

3 Nieces:  Jennifer Beall and husband, Justin of Pearson, Ga.

                 Christina Johnson and husband, Robert of Jacksonville, Fla.

                 Felicia Johnson of Waycross, Ga.

2 Nephews:  George Eversole of Pearson, Ga.

                     Jay Eversole and wife, Karen of Madison, Ga.

Several other relatives also survive.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Giddens were held, Friday, September 17, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Red Bluff Cemetery with Rev. Edward Mathews officiating. Special music included “Wings of An Angel” and “Amazing Grace” presented by cd. The interment followed in Red Bluff Cemetery. 

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
