Ms. Vera Lois Delk, age 69 years old, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Monday, February 26, 2024, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga., after a courageous seven-month battle with cancer. She was born in Douglas, Ga. on November 26, 1954, daughter of T.J. and Emmalene Bennett Murray Delk. Ms. Delk worked as a beautician for many years and greatly loved all her clients. She enjoyed reading, traveling, cooking, and especially, spending time with family. Even though Ms. Delk had no children, she was a "Mother" to all. Ms. Delk attended Saving Grace Ministries and was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her nephew, Edward Davis.

3 Sisters: Wylene Gurley and husband Layne of Pearson, Ga.
Diane Davis and husband Gene of Pearson, Ga.
Teresa Mizell and husband Wesley of Axson, Ga.
Brother: David “Pat” Delk of Axson, Ga.
Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Ms. Delk were held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Relihan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cliff Kirkland officiating. Special musical selections included, "When I Get Where I'm Going" and "I'll Fly Away" both rendered by cd. The interment followed in Sweetwater Cemetery.
Serving as active pallbearers were: Eric Mizell, Nicholas Hernandez, Adrian Hernandez, Chandler Musgrove, Kyle Delk, and Bailey Mizell.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were: Clay Mizell, Dade Mizell, Drew Davis, Christopher Davis, James Gore, James and Betty Joyce, Gene Davis, Layne Gurley Wesley Mizell, Pat Delk, and Stacey Wilson.
Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
