Teofila Morales Perez

Mrs. Teofila Morales Perez, age 60 years old, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023, at UF Health Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida, following a short illness.  She was born in Hidalgo, Mexico on August 6, 1963, daughter of Herminio Perez Hernandez and Rafaela Morales Ceron.  Mrs. Perez was a homemaker and took great pride in caring and providing for her family.  She was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Paul Catholic Church in Douglas, Ga.  Mrs. Perez was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her brother, Eduardo Perez.  Though her physical presence will be greatly missed, her loving spirit will never be forgotten and will continue in her family for generations to come.

Husband:  Maximino Lopez of Pearson, Ga.

2 Sons:  Cesar Perez of Mexico

              Yoni Lopez of Pearson, Ga.

2 Daughters:  Esmerelda Lopez of Pearson, Ga.

                       Rubi Lopez of Tifton, Ga.

3 Sisters:  Catalina Perez of Pearson, Ga.

                 Maria Guadalupe Perez Morales of Mexico

3 grandchildren:  Edgar Eduardo Perez, Kimberley Perez, and Ulices Alexander Machuca

Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Perez were held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 12:00 P.M. at St. Paul Catholic Church in Douglas, Ga. with Father Paul O’Connell officiating. The interment followed in Sweetwater Cemetery.
