Steve Allen Jordan

Mr. Steve Allen Jordan, age 54 of Axson, Ga., passed away Monday, June 28, 2021, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga., following a brief illness.  A native of Douglas, Ga., Mr. Jordan was born, July 4, 1966, son of George Wesley and Mary Alice Jackson Jordan.  After working at Cady Bag Co. in Pearson, Ga. for over 20 years, Mr. Jordan continued to work the last several years as an auto mechanic.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and attended Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by his brother, Greg Jordan.

Survivors include:

Wife:  Katherine Anderson Jordan of Axson, Ga.

Son:  Josh Allen Jordan of Axson, Ga.

Daughter:  Julie Dianna Jordan of Axson, Ga.

2 Brothers:  Neal Jordan and wife, Sherri of Douglas, Ga.

                  Kenneth Jordan of Albany, Ga.

Sister:  Teresa Jordan of Douglas, Ga.

Granddaughter:  Katherine Lo'Kole Colton

Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Jordan were held, Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Relihan Funeral Home Chapel in Pearson, Ga. with Bro. Bobby Fussell officiating.  Special musical selections included, “Victory in Jesus”, “Daddy’s Hands” and “Nothing but the Blood of Jesus” rendered by c.d.  The interment followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers were:  Allie Purvis, Dustin Jordan, Tyler Jordan, Chris Meloid, Lee Chancey and Daniel Anderson.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
