Mrs. Shelba Jean Davis Hile, age 80 of Jacksonville, Fla. passed away quietly at her home surrounded by loved ones on, Sunday, November 17, 2019, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Formerly of Willacoochee, Ga., Jean was born on February 5, 1939. She had made Jacksonville, Florida her home for the last eleven years. Jean will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, daughter, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a dear friend to those who shared her life. She enjoyed many hobbies including, fishing, traveling and going on gambling trips to Mississippi and Vegas. But most of all, she enjoyed time spent with family. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacey Lynn, two sons, Mark Anthony and Rodger Leroy Hile, sister, Jimmie O’Neal and brother, Callis Leroy Davis, Jr.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Hile were held, Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Willacoochee Church of God in Willacoochee, Ga. with Rev. Lance Taylor officiating. Special musical selections included, “Amazing Grace”, “Will the Circle be Unbroken” and “Old Time Rock & Roll” rendered by cd. Interment followed in Willacoochee City Cemetery.
Serving as active pallbearers were: Randy Hile, Austin Lee Hile, Jason Jones, Johnny Braverman, Shannon Mitchell and Daniel Moore. Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
