Patricia Linn Giddens Wright

Mrs. Patricia Linn Giddens Wright, age 67 years old, of Pearson, Ga., passed away, Saturday, March 16, 2024, at her home, following a short illness. 

Mrs. Wright was born September 14, 1956, in Miami, Fl. to the late William Earl Giddens and Marjorie Newbern Giddens.  She had made her home on the family farm in Kirkland, Ga., for the past several years after retiring from the State of Georgia Department of Community Affairs. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling and crafts. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Wright.  
 
Survivors include:
3 Daughters:  Shannon Lindsey Penrod and husband, Kevin of Des Moines, Iowa
                       Abby Johnson and husband, Rane of Winthrop, Minn.
                       Dana Wright of Atlanta, Ga.
 
Sister:  Gladieth Nugent of Pearson, Ga.
 
4 Grandchildren:  Shelby Penrod, Caitlyn Tanner, Anthony Marcus, and Ashlynn Marcus
 
1 Great-Grandchild:  Keegan Penrod, along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives

Boyfriend:  Lee Cuzick 
 
Celebration of life services for Mrs. Wright were held, Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Relihan Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Walter James and Rev. Edward Mathews officiating.  Music selections included "Tears in Heaven" and "Spirit in the Sky" rendered by cd.  Special memories were shared by close friends and family.  
 
Memorialization was by cremation.
 
Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
