Mrs. Nikki Lee Hutchinson, age 77 of Axson, Ga., passed away Wednesday, September 09, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. A native of Toledo, Ohio, Mrs. Hutchinson was born, December 29, 1942, daughter of Jack Dutton and Hilda Pearson. Coming from Miami, Fla, she made her home in Atkinson County for the last 57 years where she worked at Cady Bag Company of Pearson, Ga. as a seamstress. Mrs. Hutchinson was a member of the Axson Church of God of Prophecy. She loved going to Wal-Mart, planting flowers, working in the kitchen at Church and especially, spending time with her children and grandchildren. Along with her parents, Mrs. Hutchinson was preceded in death by her husband, Cager Hutchinson; grandson, Jason Woodard and great-grandson, Cason Delk.

Brother: John Pearson of Tampa, Fl.
7 grandchildren: Ryan Taft and wife Nicole of Douglas, Ga.
Johnathan Sturgis of Douglas, Ga.
Joshua Stringer of Pearson, Ga.
Michael Stringer of Douglas, Ga.
Jessica Bustos of Pearson, Ga.
Casey Taft of Axson, Ga.
Imelda Smith and husband Devin of Pearson, Ga.
12 Great-Grandchildren and several other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hutchinson were held, Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Axson Church of God of Prophecy in Axson, Ga. with Rev. Rob Hutto, Rev. Keith Burch, Rev. Steven Anderson, and Rev. Britt Peavey officiating. Special musical selections included, “Jealous of the Angels” and “In His Arms I’m Not Afraid” rendered by cd. Soft music for the prelude was provided by, keyboardist, Jessica Anderson who also played and sang, along with her daughter, Kadee Anderson, “Amazing Grace” for the postlude. The interment followed in the Axson Cemetery.
Serving as active pallbearers were Ryan Taft, Casey Taft, Joshua Stringer, Michael Stringer, Johnathan Sturgis and Randall White. Honorary pallbearers were Larry Burch, Marvin McDaniel, Henry Taft, Colonel Dale, Ben Taylor, Bob Stults and Rob Chavis.
Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
