Mose Dorman Register

Mr. Mose Dorman Register, age 70 passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, at Vista Park in Douglas, Ga. following an extended illness.

Mr. Register was born September 14, l953 in Homerville, Ga., son of Mose Register and Edith Kirkland Kyser. He spent most of his life in Clinch and Atkinson County and had previously worked at Brockway / Lee Container in Homerville in the Security Dept. In his spare time Mr. Register enjoyed talking with people, eating out and watching shows.  He attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Mayo Register, and sister, Barbara Annis Register.

Survivors include:

Daughter:  Kristen Register of Pearson, Ga.

Stepbrother:  Revis Kyser of Douglas, Ga.

2 Stepsisters:   Sylvia Kyser O’Quinn of Lakeland, Ga.

                          Latricia Kyser Jones of Leary, Ga.

Several other relatives also survived.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Register were held on Monday, April 15, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Stokesville Cemetery with Rev. Lonnie Spikes officiating. Special musical selections included, “When I Get Where I’m Going” and “Scars in Heaven”. The interment followed in Stokesville Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers were, Randy Browning, Sean McCall, Terry Mock, Chad Moody and Robert Palmer.

Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
