Mary Reliford Stone

OBITUARY                                                                                            MRS. MARY RELIFORD STONE         Mrs. Mary Reliford Stone, age 62, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 in Lakeland, Ga. following a brief illness.  A native of Atkinson County, Mrs. Stone was born, January 13, 1957, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Willie Mae Harrell Reliford. She lived most of her life in Pearson as a homemaker. Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by three brothers, Lonnie, Monroe and Clarence Reliford, along with her parents.   Survivors include: Husband: Bobby Stone of Pearson, Ga.   2 Sons: Bobby Joe Stone and wife Crystal of Douglas, Ga.             Charles Hutchinson and wife Christy of Lakeland, Ga.   4 Daughters: Susie Storey of Douglas, Ga.                        Rosemary Davis and husband Albert, Jr. of Homerville, Ga.                        Margaret Sanders and husband Allen of Lakeland, Ga.                        Lilly Stone of Lakeland, Ga.   2 Brothers: Bill Reliford of Douglas, Ga.                    Benny Reliford of Pearson, Ga.   Sister: Linda Stone of Pearson, Ga.   Several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.   Funeral services for Mrs. Stone were held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Cothern officiating. Special musical selections included, “Lead Me Home”, “Go Rest High on that Mountain”, “Dancing in the Sky”, “Amazing Grace” and “If I Could Hear My Mother Pray Again” all rendered by c.d. Interment followed in Royals Cemetery.   Serving as active pallbearers were: Buddy Reliford, Clarence Stone, Moses Reliford, Benny Carroll Reliford, Chris Crosby, Reason Gilliard, Christopher Gilliard and Gatlin Davis. Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of all the arrangements.
