Mrs. Maria Castillo, age 61 years old, of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away Friday, September 06, 2024, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Ga.

Survivors include:

2 Sons: Fernando Gaona and wife Charlotte of Pearson, Ga.

 Daniel Gaona and wife Marisol of Willacoochee, Ga.

4 Daughters: Obdulia Beiza and husband Jose of Willacoochee, Ga.

 Maria Felix Sanches and husband Fidencio of Willacoochee, Ga.

 Francisca Diaz and husband Jaun Carlos of Willacoochee, Ga.

 Lucia Mata and husband Juan of Willacoochee, Ga.

2 Brothers:  Mario Castillo of Willacoochee, Ga.

Catalino Castillo and wife Suany of Bradenton, Fl.

4 Sisters:  Leonarda Castillo and husband Blas of Mexico

Zeferina Castillo of Mexico

Esperanza Gaona of Willacoochee, Ga.

Leonor Castillo and husband Santiago of Mexico

12 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with many other relatives and friends, also survive.

Mrs. Castillo is preceded in death by her husband Catalino Gaona.

Funeral services for Mrs. Castillo will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Alpha Y Omega Church in Willacoochee, Ga. with Rev. Rigo Berto Victoria officiating. The interment will follow in Willacoochee City Cemetery.

Visitation for Mrs. Castillo will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Alpha Y Omega Church in Willacoochee, Ga. from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
