Mrs. Louetta Harper Brown, age 93, of Willacoochee, Ga., passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. following a brief illness. A native of Ambrose, Ga., Mrs. Brown was born September l8, l925, daughter of Aubrey and Alice Paulk Harper. She had made her home in Willacoochee for most of her life, was a retired school bus driver and a homemaker. Her church membership was at Willacoochee United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Ereatus Brown, a granddaughter, Heather Bolanos and 3 brothers, Dave Harper, W. J. Harper and Bernie Harper.Survivors include:2 Daughters: Mary Audrey Cannon and husband Rev. John Cannon of Ringgold, Ga. Alice Faye Prieto and husband Alex of Willacoochee, Ga. Daughter-In-Law: Patricia Brown of Willacoochee, Ga. Brother: Willis Harper and wife Jackie of Cochran, Ga. 7 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. Funeral Services for Mrs. Brown were held, Friday, November 02, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. at Willacoochee United Methodist Church in Willacoochee, Ga., with Rev. Laurie Hartley, Rev. John Cannon, and Rev. Eddie Morrison officiating. Special musical selections included “I’d Rather Have Jesus” and “Victory in Jesus” rendered by the attending congregation with Beth Paulk accompanying at the piano. “Serenaded by Angels” was rendered by soloist, Tammy Paulk with CD accompaniment. Soft music for the Prelude and Postlude was by Beth Paulk, pianist. The interment followed in Willacoochee City Cemetery.Active pallbearers were: Lupe Bolanos, Francisco Barnes, Charlie Bray, Jimmy Grantham, Elmer Luke and Jr. Cooper.Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
