Ms. Lena Charlene Maine, age 69, of Nashville, Ga. formerly of Willacoochee, Ga., passed away, Saturday, February 02, 2019 at SGMC Berrien Campus in Nashville, Ga. following a short illness. A native of Willacoochee, Ga., Ms. Maine was born October 26, l949, daughter of Q. B. and Ozelle Davis Maine. She had made her home in Willacoochee for most of her life before moving to Nashville, Ga. to live with her sister in 2002. She enjoyed family activities and playing with her sister’s grandchildren. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Willacoochee, but for the past several years had been attending Nashville Holiness Church. Survivors include: 2 Brothers: Pete Maine and wife Cathy of Georgetown, Ga. Joe Maine and wife Linda of Adel, Ga. 2 Sisters: Ottie Smith of Douglas, Ga. Sue Luke of Nashville, Ga. Several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral Services for Ms. Maine were Wednesday, February 06, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Willacoochee First Baptist Church in Willacoochee, Ga. with Rev. Johnny Smith, Rev. Elaine Keene, and Rev. Joe Lee officiating. Special musical selections were “Beulah Land” and “Go Rest High on That Mountain” rendered by Derick Soles with cd accompaniment. Soft music for the Prelude and Postlude was by cd. The interment followed in the Willacoochee City Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were: Joseph Maine, Steve Green, Tommy Maine, Jeff Murphy, Bryce Maine and Trevor Maine McKinnon. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
