Latimer Joseph Davis

Mr. Latimer Joseph “Joe” Davis, age 63, of Nashville, Ga. passed away at his home on Monday, May 25, 2020, following a short illness. A native of Ocilla, Ga. Mr. Davis was born, June 21, 1956 son of Latimer “Bud” and Lucille Shiver Davis. Mr. Davis lived in the Willacoochee area for most of his life and was retired from Walmart Distribution after 22 years, where he worked as an Asset Protection Manger. He enjoyed doing puzzles, watching football and spending time with family. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tommy Davis.

Survivors include:

Wife:  Susan Davis of Nashville, Ga.

Son:  Josh Davis of Nashville, Ga.

Daughter:  Rosanna Williams of Nashville, Ga.

2 Sisters:  Joan Sheffield of Pooler, Ga.

                Kathy Paulk and husband, Mike of Willacoochee, Ga.

2 Grandchildren:  Bryson and Carter Williams

Several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives also survive.

Memorial Services for Mr. Davis were held, Friday, May 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Willacochee, Ga. with Rev. Joe Lee and Rev. Mike Paulk officiating. Special musical selections included, “When the Saints Go Marching In”, “Great Grace” and “When I Get to Where I’m Going” all presented by cd.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
