Mrs. June Faye McEachern Spivey, age 67, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at her home in Pearson, Ga. following an extended illness. A native of Fitzgerald, Ga., Mrs. Spivey was born June 29, 1952 to Mr. and Mrs. William Monroe and Johnnie Mae Fussell McEachern. She was a member of Ozias Freewill Baptist Church in Pearson. Mrs. Spivey worked for many years with the Atkinson County DFCS. She went on to enjoy her retirement by spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, fishing, cooking and canning vegetables. Mrs. Spivey had a great love for those around her and was always there to lend a helping hand. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. and Mrs. William Monroe and Johnnie Mae Fussell McEachern.

Dale Spivey and wife, Ashley of Axson, Ga.
Daughter: Shanlee Spivey of Pearson, Ga.
Former Husband: Harvey Spivey of Pearson, Ga.
Brother: Billy McEachern and, Loretta Hodges of Fitzgerald, Ga.
2 Sisters: Martha May and husband, Allen of Perry, Ga.
Marianne Royal of Ocilla, Ga.
4 Grandchildren: Caleb Spivey, Collyns Spivey, Dallas Spivey, and Ally Spivey
Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Spivey were held on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Relihan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Spivey and Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiating. Special musical selections included, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, “When I Get Where I’m Going” and “Beulah Land” all rendered by c.d. accompaniment.
Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
