Mr. Julian W. Mancil, age 68 of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away Monday, July 22, 2024, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
A native of Atkinson County, Mr. Mancil was born June 28, 1956, son of Pearley and Minnie Darley Mancil. He worked as a brick mason and enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his buggy, and spending time with his family. He attended Faith Baptist Church in Willacoochee, Ga. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mancil was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Harvie Mancil and Hiram Mancil.
Survivors include:
Wife: Kathy Mancil of Willacoochee, Ga.
2 Sons: Anthony Mancil and wife Hiedi of Willacoochee, Ga. Julian Dewayne Mancil of Willacoochee, Ga.
Daughter: Cindy Propes and husband Ronnie of Willacoochee, Ga.
6 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Mancil were held on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. in Willacoochee City Cemetery with Rev. Joe Taft officiating. Special music included “If Tomorrow Never Comes” and “You Should Be here” were rendered by cd. The interment followed in Willacoochee City Cemetery.
Serving as active pallbearers were: Sean Witt, Ronnie Propes, Robbie Mancil, Kevin Nugent, Willie Carl Mancil, and Tony Heath.
Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
