Jimmy Dale Davis

December 30, 1962 — June 25, 2020

Mr. Jimmy Dale Davis, age 57 of Pearson, Ga., passed away, Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga., following a short illness.

Born December 30, l962, in Douglas, Ga., Mr. Davis was the son of the late Melvin Stephens and Lucille Corbitt Davis. Mr. Davis was a graduate of Atkinson County High School and had made his home in Atkinson County his entire life. He was currently working for Rich Products, Inc. in Brunswick, Ga. in Industrial Maintenance. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed socializing with his family and friends.

Survivors include:

Wife: Sheila Davis of Pearson, Ga.

 

Son: Joey Davis and wife Dessia of Brunswick, Ga.

 

Daughter: Carrie Minchew and husband Jim of Douglas, Ga.

 

2 Brothers: Hugh Davis and wife Alice Faye of Pearson, Ga.

                   Gene Davis and wife Diane of Pearson, Ga.

 

6 Grandchildren: Kiley McDonald, Shaylyn Davis, Emberlyn Davis, Maggie Minchew, Jake Minchew, and Stone Minchew.

 

Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Davis were held on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Casey Wright officiating, and the Eulogy given by his brother, Hugh Davis. Musical selections included, “Amazing Grace”, “My Old Man” and “Love Without End, Amen” presented by CD. The interment followed in the Axson Cemetery.

 

Serving as active pallbearers were, Adam Nelson, Rick Davis, Scott Davis, Austin Roberts,

John Medders and Joey Thomas. Honorary pallbearers were, Clarence Wright, Charles Courson,

Wad Sears and employees of Rich Inc. Maintenance.

 

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
