James Wesley Luke

Mr. James Wesley Luke, age 58, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024, at his home following an extended illness.

Mr. Luke was born in Winter Haven, Fl. on June l6, l966, son of Norman Luke and Anna Sue Guthrie Causey. He had made his home in this area for most of his life and worked as an escort driver for team Luke. He attended Axson Evangelistic Church and was passionate of his faith. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, loved church, going fishing, listening to music and going to the beach. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Conner Levi Luke and a brother, Randall Shane Luke.

2 Daughters: Chantel Harris and husband Christopher of Patterson, Ga.

                      Faith Melton and husband Samuel of Fancy Farm, Ky.

2 Sons: Craig Luke and wife Rebecca of Millwood, Ga.

             Josh Freeman of Pearson, Ga.

3 Sisters: Lynne Vickers of Willacoochee, Ga. 

                Christine Lee and husband Gary of Terrell, Tx. 

                Charity Luke and husband John of Enigma, Ga.

Special friends: Jess Griffis of Pearson, Ga.

                          Carey Correll of Valdosta, Ga.

                           Steve Russell of St. Mary's, Ga.

10 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Luke were held at 4:00 P. M. Wednesday, July l7, 2024 at Relihan Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Harris officiating. Special music included “Let Me Tell You”, “Go Rest High on That Mountain” and “Amazing Grace” rendered by CD.

Memorization was by cremation.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
