Mr. Henry McKinnon, age 82, of Pearson, Ga., passed away, Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at his home following an extended illness.
A native of Atkinson County, Mr. McKinnon was born October 0l, l956, son of Edward Grady McKinnon and Estelle McDonald McKinnon. He was a prominent farmer in the Sunnyside community and served l7 years as President of the Atkinson County Farm Bureau. He also worked several years with his brother in the sawmill industry. He was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church where he served as Eucharistic Minister and Elector. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, E. G. McKinnon.

Jimmy McKinnon and wife Dorine of St. Petersburg, Fl.
2 Sisters: Veronica Hope of Denton, Tx.
Maurice Cook of Albany, Ga.
7 Grandchildren: Lauren McKinnon Dubberly and husband Deek, Meagan McKinnon, Cameron Carter and wife Sara, Trent McKinnon and wife Kiah, Slayten Carter, Summer McKinnon, and Carsen Jane Carter
6 Great-Grandchildren: Judson Dubberly, Delaney Dubberly, Beau Dubberly, Henry McKinnon, Liam Carter, and Max Carter.
Several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral Services for Mr. McKinnon were held, Friday, October 26, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Pearson, Ga. with Father Rafael Estrada officiating. Mrs. Sue White was the Elector for the service and also spoke of growing up in the church with Mr. McKinnon. Special music and Prelude and Postlude music was by Marsha Morris, organist. The interment followed in Holy Family Church Cemetery.
Serving as active pallbearer’s were: Eddie McKinnon, Christopher Dawson, Cameron Carter, Trent McKinnon, Roy Haskins, and Craig Morris.
