Heidi Jeannette Nugent

Ms. Heidi Jeannette Nugent, age 40, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga.

Heidi was born August 14, 1984, to Patrick Michael and Jeannette Theresa DeCosta Nugent. Heidi made her home in Pearson, was a homemaker and a member of Kirland Church. She enjoyed being outdoors, taking care of animals, and spending time with friends and family. She is preceded in death by her father, Patrick Michael Nugent and uncle, Carl Wood.

Mother: Jeannette Theresa Nugent of Pearson, Ga.

Daughter: Edith Claire Wilkinson of Douglas, Ga.

2 Sons: Carson Wilkinson of Pearson, Ga.

              Brylan Wilkinson of Pearson, Ga.

Spouse: Mike Mathis of Pearson, Ga.

Brother: Lester William Nugent of Pearson, Ga.

2 Sisters: Elieen Christine McClellan of Douglas, Ga.

                Theresa Michelle Lott of Pearson, Ga.

Nieces & Nephews: Autumn, Allie, Lawton, Laney, Jayden, Miley, Annie, and Bodie

Several aunts, uncles, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Ms. Nugent were held on Thursday, January 02, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Kirkland Church with Rev. Gary Griffin officiating. Special music included “Dancing in the Sky”, Old Violin”, “and Amazing Grace” presented by cd. The interment followed in Kirkland Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers were: Chad Lott, David Nugent, John DeCosta, Lawton Nugent, Jayden Lott, and Trey Wood.
