Harvey Henry Hamilton

Mr. Harvey H. Hamilton, age 79 of Pearson, Ga. passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Ga.  A native of Willacoochee, Ga., Mr. Hamilton was born, October 21, 1941 son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Mallie Delk Hamilton.  He was a farmer and enjoyed dog hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his large family.  Mr. Hamilton was a member of Ozias Freewill Baptist Church in Pearson, Ga.  He was preceded in death by his parents, along with 2 sisters, Eloise Delk and Helen Griggs.

Survivors include:

Wife:  Barbara Hamilton of Pearson, Ga.

2 Sons:  Bing Hamilton and wife Alice of Pearson, Ga.

               Allen Hamilton and wife Michelle of Pearson, Ga.  

2 Daughters:  Zenda Adair and husband Mark of Pearson, Ga.

                        Yolanda Hayes and husband Corey of Willacoochee, Ga.

3 Step-Sons:  Teddy Burch and wife Rita of Pearson, Ga.

                       Tony Burch and wife Gwen of Willacoochee, Ga.

                        David Burch of Axson, Ga.

Step-Daughter:  Lisa Soles and husband Greg of Pearson, Ga.

2 Sisters:  Mae Kelm of Valdosta, Ga.

                 Judy Mercer of Stockton, Ga.

Special Friends:  Winston and Lottie Bruce of Homerville, Ga.

                             Clinton McKinnon of Douglas, Ga.

                             Larry Johnson of Pearson, Ga.

                             Zyccarreous Starks of Pearson, Ga. 

11 Grandchildren, 10 Step-Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, 3 Step-Great Grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Hamilton were held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Ozias Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.  Special musical selections included, "Will the Circle be Unbroken" and "God Bless America" rendered by his daughter, Zenda Adair.  The interment followed in Ozias Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers were:  Kevin Luke, Will Hamilton, Mathew Soles, Chad Burch, Cody Hayes, Micajah Adair, Amber Hamilton and Zoey Adair.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
