Mrs. Emmalene B. Delk, age 86 years old, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. following an extended illness. She was born in Millwood, Ga., on August 22, 1936, daughter of Jasper and Lilly Bennett. Mrs. Emmalene made her home in Pearson where she, along with her husband, T.J., took great pride in caring and providing for their family. She was a homemaker and in her spare time she enjoyed fishing, cheering on the GA Bulldogs, talking to people and most importantly, spending time and making memories with family. Mrs. Emmalene was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her husband, T.J. Delk, and her grandson, Edward Cameron Davis.

Diane Davis and husband Gene of Pearson, Ga.
Theresa Mizell and husband Wesley of Axson, Ga.
2 Brothers: Roby Bennett of Blackshear, Ga.
Jasper Bennett and wife Carnell of Pearson, Ga.
6 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren, 5 Great-Great Grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Delk were held Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Relihan Funeral Home Chapel in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Clayton Davis officiating. Special musical selections included, “When I Get Where I’m Going”, “Dancing in the Sky”, and “Amazing Grace” all rendered by c.d. The interment followed in Sweetwater Cemetery.
Serving as active pallbearers were: Eric Mizell, Dade Mizell, Bailey Mizell, Kyle Delk, Nicolas Hernanadez, and Stacey Wilson.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were: Clay Mizell, James Gore, Adrian Hernandez, Tony Hernandez, and James & Betty Joyce.
Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
