Elmarie Lott

Ms. Elmarie Lott, age 80 of Waycross, Ga., formerly of Pearson, passed away Friday, February 21, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Southside Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla. following an extended illness.

Ms. Lott was born June 6, l939 in Coffee County, daughter of the late Gardie and Rosalee Mancil Lott. She had made her home in Pearson, Ga. most of her life, before moving to Waycross two years ago to be near her family. She was a homemaker and when living in Pearson attended Pearson Church of God of Prophecy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gardie Lee and brother, R. J. Lott.

Survivors include:

Son: Derryl Lee and wife, Cathy of Waycross, Ga.

Daughter: Joan Lee of Waycross, Ga.

Brother: David Lott and wife, Denise of Waycross, Ga.

2 Sisters: Dorothy Strickland and husband, Eddie of Waycross, Ga.

               Annie Rice of Waycross, Ga.

Grandson: Dustin Lee and wife, Kelly of Pearson, Ga.

Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services for Ms. Lott were held, Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Relihan Funeral Home Chapel in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. John Kersey and Joey Pittman officiating. Special musical selections included “Mama” and “I’m Going Over” by CD. The interment followed in Hargraves Cemetery with “Amazing Grace” sung at the gravesite with Joey Pittman leading.

Serving as active pallbearers were, Al Brogdon, Chris Brogdon, Allen Lott, Richard Lott, Devin Fogle, Scott Fogle, Curtis Lee and Kyle Lee. Honorary pallbearers were Shawn Brown, Michael Fogle, Berry Cox and Randy Lott.

Relihan Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
