Edward Bernell Roe

Mr. Edward Bernell Roe, age 56 of Axson, Ga. passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga.

Mr. Roe was born December 31, l962, son of Perry Travis Roe and Patricia Floyd Roe. He had made his home in Atkinson County since l976. He had worked in the boating industry for many years and his favorite pastimes were listening to music and the radio. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Perry Roe and Emanuel Roe and a nephew, Scott Perry Worth.

Survivors include:

Mother: Patricia Floyd Roe of Axson, Ga.

3 Brothers: Travis Roe and wife Prencess of Waycross, Ga.

                   Patrick Roe and wife Martha of Ocilla, Ga.

                   Jody Roe and wife Ann of Waycross, Ga.

2 Sisters: Brenda Paulk of Willacoochee, Ga.

                 Mary Vasquez of Valdosta, Ga.

Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Roe were held Sunday, November 03, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at the Willacoochee City Cemetery with Rev. Hardy Crosby officiating. Special music included “Amazing Grace”, “Go Rest High on That Mountain” and “When I Get Where I’m Going” presented by CD. The interment followed in the Willacoochee City Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers were: Vernon Worth, Kevin Worth, Chris Row, Michael Roe, Jeff Roe and Anthony Roe.

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
