Mrs. Carolyn Hulett Conger, age 68 years old, of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga., following an extended illness. Mrs. Carolyn was born, August 27, 1955, in Coffee County, Ga., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie and Wilma Durrance Taylor. She made her home in Willacoochee and worked 27 years as a supervisor with Elixir Industries in Douglas, Ga. Mrs. Carolyn enjoyed camping, fishing, walking on the beach, working in her flowers, collecting keychains, and reading her Bible. She was a member of Willacoochee Church of God and was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her son; Gregory Alton Conger and 2 brothers; Jerry and Albert Taylor.

2 Sons: Jeff Hulett of Douglas, Ga.
Kyle Moore of Lake City, Fl.
2 Daughters: Sandy King of West Green, Ga.
Tammy Merson and husband Shane of West Green, Ga.
Sister: Mary Miller of Douglas, Ga.
2 Sister-In-Laws: Brenda Taylor of St. Mary’s, Ga.
Janice Taylor of Douglas, Ga.
8 Grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn were held, Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at the Willacoochee Church of God, with Rev. Clint Ledford officiating. Special musical selections included, “Go Rest High”, “Touch the Hem of His Garment” both rendered by Rocky Harper, along with “Way Maker” performed by Aaron Ledford and Rachel Odums. The interment followed in the Willacoochee City Cemetery.
Serving as active pallbearers were Charles Conger, Jerry Conger, Lee Pittman, Johnny Murray, Chase Voorhees, and Danny Miller. Honorary pallbearers included Alton Hutto and Ottis Luke.
Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
