Betty Jean Giddens

Ms. Betty Jean Giddens, age 84, of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020 at her home following a sudden illness.

A native of  Willacoochee, Ga. Ms. Giddens was born, March 17, 1936, daughter of Robert Eugene and Ruby Lee Rouse Giddens.  She was employed for many years as a Regional Secretary for the Hertz Rental Car Corporation.  After some time away, Ms. Giddens moved back to Willacoochee in 2003 where she attended Willacoochee First Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Giddens. 

Survivors include:

2 Brothers: Glenn Giddens of Willacoochee, Ga.

                   Lowell Giddens of Staunton, Va.

2 Sisters: Wynelle McMillan of Lilburn, Ga.

                 Gail Mosley and husband George of Jacksonville, Fl.

Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Memorialization was by cremation. 

A Memorial Service for Ms. Giddens will be held, Friday, July 24, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Willacoochee City Cemetery with Rev. Joseph Lee officiating. The interment will follow in the Willacoochee City Cemetery.
