Hadlow Center for Caring in Jacksonville, Fl. following an extended illness. Born August 28, l936 in Knoxville, Tenn. Mrs. Arnold was the daughter of Paris and Lucille Ingram Cloud. She had worked for many years as a waitress and was a Christian by faith. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brandi Jean Branch. Survivors include: Husband: Olen Arnold, Jr. of Jacksonville, Fl. 3 Sons: George Arnold of Pearson, Ga. William Pickles and Robert Pickles of Jacksonville, Fl. 3 Daughters: Jenonia Arnold of Pearson, Ga. Rita Branch of Pearson, Ga. Sherry Smith of Albany, Ga. 10 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Arnold were held at 2:00 P. M. Monday, May 11, 2009 at Sunnyside Cemetery with Rev. Clyde Purvis officiating. Special musical selections included "Mama's Sugar" and "Amazing Grace" rendered by Lucious and Lousie Barnes and Dianne Mathis Chambless with Ms. Chambless accompanying on the guitar. The interment followed in Sunnyside Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were: Stacy Ray Arnold, Rodney Crews, Kyle Starr, Cecil Spivey, Jerry Arnold and Marvin Barnes. Honorary pallbearers were: Ricky Stone, Randy Stone and Wendell Purvis. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
