Mrs. Myrtle Nolan Morris age 93 of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009 at the McGraw Center for Caring in Jacksonville, Fl. following an extended illness. Born December 16, l9l5 in Coffee County, Mrs. Morris was the daughter of Ezekiel Issac and Delilah Paulk Nolan. She had made her home in Willacoochee for most of her life until moving to Jacksonville, Fl. some nine years ago to live with her daughter. She worked for many years as a General Merchandise Store Manager and was also a homemaker. She was a longtime member of the Willacoochee United Methodist Church where she was active in the United Methodist Women's Bible Study Group. Her husband Onis Morris, a sister, Eula Mae McGregor and 3 brothers, Harvey Nolan, Lawton Nolan and Cletus Nolan, preceded her in death. Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Glenda Alford and husband Marvin of Jacksonville, Ga. 2 Grandchildren: Elaine Felker and husband Marty of Jacksonville, Fl. Brian Alford and wife Michelle of Jacksonville, Fl. 2 Great Grandchildren: Lauren Felker and Seth Alford 1 Brother: Albert Nolan and wife Irene of Willacoochee, Ga. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Morris were held at 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at the Willacoochee United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Duval and Rev. Eddie Morrison officiating. Special musical selections were presented by Tammy Paulk who sang "Sheltered In The Arms of God" with tape accompaniment, "How Great Thou Art" rendered by Craig McKinnon accompanied by Beth Paulk pianist and "Amazing Grace" sung by the attending congregation with Beth Paulk pianist. Beth Paulk pianist played soft music for the Prelude and the Postlude. The interment followed in the Willacoochee City Cemetery Serving as active pallbearers were: Don Nolan, Jerry Metts, Jimmy Metts, Joe Courson, Vernon Nolan and Todd Damato.
