Mr. Vernie Ruhlman age 77 of Darien, Ga. passed away Friday, October l6, 2009 at Hospice of Golden Islands in Brunswick, Ga. following an illness of several months. A native of Coffee County, Mr. Ruhlman was born July 18, l932 son of Boyd Leon and Letha Arnold Ruhlman. He had made his home in Michigan for many years before moving to the south. He was a retired Auto Marine Sales Rep. and was of the Protestant Faith. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. A son, Kelly Boyd Ruhlman and a sister, Marlene Ruhlman, preceded him in death. Survivors include: Daughter: Wendy Grunewald A Grandson: Joshua Ruhlman of Wyoming, Mi. 3 other Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Ruhlman were held at 11:00 A. M. Friday, October 23, 209 at the Kirkland United Methodist Church with Rev. Ernest Harper officiating. Special musical selections included "It is Well With My Soul" rendered by soloist Joyce Harper and "Amazing Grace" rendered by the attending congregation with tape accompaniment. Soft music for the Prelude and the Postlude was provided by tape. The interment followed in Arna Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were: Henry Nugent, Jimmy Dell, Preston Adams, J. C.
