Mr. Roy Earl (Buddy) Mizell age 63 of Axson, Ga. passed away Wednesday, April 14 20l0 at St. Luke's Hospital in Jacksonville, Fl. following a short illness. Born August 6, l946 in Coffee County, Mr. Mizell was the son of Orman and the late Margaret Musgrove Mizell. He was a retired autoworker from General Motors Corporation and was currently working as a truck driver for T. J. Transport. He was also a farmer and the caretaker of Utah Cemetery. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include: Wife: Gisela Mizell of Axson, Ga. 1 Daughter: Kerri Vickers and husband Mike of Locust Grove, Ga. l Son: Brian Mizell and wife Wendy of Jenkinsburg, Ga. Father: Orman Mizell of Axson, Ga. 1 Step Son: Ron Summerfield and wife Tonia of Medina, Ohio 2 Step Daughters: Angela Vettel and husband Chip of Grafton, Ohio Heidi Moore and husband Chris of Axson, Ga. 1 Brother: Jesse Wayne Mizell and wife Tracy of Axson, Ga. 1 Sister: Margie Anderson and husband Jan of Provo, Utah 13 Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Mizell were held at 2:00 P. M. Saturday, April 17, 20l0 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pearson, Ga. with Bishop Jamie James and Bishop Steve Sirmans officiating. His sister Margie Anderson gave the Eulogy. Special musical selections included "Home" and "I Can Only Imagine" presented by CD and "God Be With You Till We Meet Again" rendered by the attending congregation with Ellen Hardee accompanying at the piano. Ellen Hardee pianist provided soft Prelude and Postlude music. The interment followed in Utah Cemetery with the dedication of the grave by Bishop Dan Vickers. Serving as pallbearers were: Morris Browning, Paul Mizell, Marshall Mizell, Lamar Davis, Jerry Davis, John Davis and Charlie Mizell.
