Grover Cleveland Troupe

Mr. Grover C. Troupe age 70 of Pearson, Ga. passed away Monday, October 4, 20l0 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. following an extended illness. A native of Atkinson County, Mr. Troupe was born March 9, l940 son of William E. and Elzie Mancil Troupe. After retiring from the logging industry Mr. Troupe worked in yard maintenance. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, William "Buddy" Troupe, Raymond Troupe and Terrell "Terry" Troupe. Survivors include: Wife: Camilla Troupe of Pearson, Ga. 2 Sons: Gene Troupe of Pearson, Ga. Tim Troupe of Douglasville, Ga. 1 Daughter: Ruby Anderson and husband Matt of Pearson, Ga. 4 Brothers: David Troupe of Swanson, S. C. Wendell Troupe and wife Wilma of Douglas, Ga. Larry Troupe and wife Candy of Nashville, Ga. Donnie Troupe and wife Carolyn of Nashville, Ga. 2 Sisters: Jewell Deen Fender of Pearson, Ga. JoAnn Harper of Willacoochee, Ga. Aunt: Lizzie Watson of Pearson, Ga. 3 Grandchildren: Rebecca Anderson, Gene Troupe and Renee Troupe Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Troupe were held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, Ocotber 6, 20l0 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Spikes and Rev. Jerry Worzella officiating. Special musical selections included "Beulah Land", " When I get Where "m Going" and "Go Rest High On That Mountain" by CD. The interment followed in Antioch Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were: Chrystal McReady, Donna Fender,, Elizie Deen Murray, Tricia Tanner,, Courtney Sutton and Allison Powell. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
