Miss Marjorie Suggs age 53 of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away Friday, October 29, 2010 at her home following an extended illness. A native of Hahira, Ga. Miss Suggs was born on December 10, 1956 daughter of John and Inell Suggs. She was a member of the Willacoochee Church of God. Survivors include: Mother: Inell McIntyre Suggs of Willacoochee, Ga. Father: John R. Suggs of Nashville, Ga. 4 Sisters: Margaret Conger and husband Junior of Willacoochee, Ga. Marsha Suggs and husband Charles Jewell of Willacoochee, Ga. Cinderella Yawn and husband Jerry of Ocilla, Ga. Mattie Courdle and husband Eugene of Willacoochee, Ga. 4 Brothers: Freddy Suggs and wife Brenda of Nashville, Ga. Johnny Suggs and wife Sherry of Blackshear, Ga. Jerry Suggs of Willacoochee, Ga. James Suggs and wife Margie Black of Douglas, Ga. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral services for Miss Suggs were held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the Willacoochee Church of God with Rev. Jeremy DeLoach and Rev. Levi Jones officiating. Special music included "I'll Have a New Life" rendered by Sisters, Family, and Friends and "I Wake Up" rendered by Kayla King with Eugene Courdle and Larry Courdle on guitar. The interment followed in St. Luke Cemetery in Berrien County with "Go Rest High On That Mountain" sung by Kayla King and Eugene Courdle. Serving as active pallbearers were Johnny Suggs, Jerry Suggs, James Suggs, and Kevin Conger. Honorary pallbearers were Timbo Conger, Bubba Yawn, and Randy Suggs. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
