George Albert Krygier

Mr. George Krygier age 89, of Axson, Ga. passed away December 30, 2010 at Palmyra Medical Center in Albany, Ga. following an extended illness. A native of Bay City, Michigan, Mr. Krygier was born February 26, 1921 son of George Albert Sr. and Mary Michalak Krygier. He served in the United States Navy during WWII and worked for Dow Chemical Co. in Michigan for 30 years as a mechanic. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Survivors include: Wife: Blanche Krygier of Axson, Ga. 2 Sons: Joseph Krygier of Key West, Fl. David Krygier and wife Lisa of Hinsdale, IL. 2 Daughters: Eva Butron and husband Salomon of Axson, Ga. Diane Krygier of Hinsdale, IL. 2 Brothers: Clarence Krygier and wife Vicki of Bay City, Mich. Arthur Krygier and wife Emily of Bay City, Mich. 1 Sister: Maxine Donborski and husband Joseph of Bay City, Mich 3 Grandchildren: Elizabeth Felker Julianna Butron Evan Michael Butron Funeral services for Mr. Krygier was held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 2, 2011 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pearson, Ga. with Bishop Kevin Merrell, Bishop Steve Sirmans, and Elder Ken Hayes officiating. Special musical selections included "Nearer My God To Thee" and "I Need Thee Every Hour" rendered by the attending congregation with Em'Starr Cribbs on the piano and "Amazing Grace" was rendered acapella by Eva Butron and Amber Martinez. Soft music for Prelude and Postlude was provided by Em'Starr Cribbs, pianist. The interment will follow at a later date. Relihan Funeral Home Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements
