Kaine Dillingham age 23 of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born August 1, l987 in Douglas, Ga. Kaine was the son of Derrick and Cynthia Giddens Dillingham. He was a 2005 graduate of Atkinson County High School and recent graduate of Wiregrass Technical College in the heating and air conditioning field. He was a gifted guitar player and enjoyed playing with his friends in his spare time. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Alapaha, Ga. Survivors include: 1 Son: Payton Kaine Dillingham of Willacoochee, Ga. Parents: Derrick and Cynthia Dillingham of Willacoochee, Ga. 1 Brother: Dalton Dillingham of Willacoochee, Ga. 1 Sister: Sheena McKinnon and husband Jeffrey of Willacoochee, Ga. Paternal Grandparents: Glenn and Madeline Dillingham of Willacoochee, Ga. Maternal Grandmother: Mary Jones of Willacoochee, Ga. Paternal Great-Grandmother: Sarah Mizell of Axson, Ga. 1 Niece: Shelby McKinnon of Willacoochee, Ga. Payton's Mother: Patty Vallejo of Axson, Ga. Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins also survive. Funeral services for Kaine Dillingham were held at 2:00 P.M., January 20, 2011 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Douglas, Ga. with Father Alfonso Gutierrez, Deacon J. Brian Bergeron and Rev. Edward Mathews officiating. Special musical selections were "When I Get Where I'm Going", "Fast" and "Life Isn't Always Beautiful" rendered by Ashley Whitney, Jared James, and Stormy Davis with Jared James and Ashley Whitley on guitar. The interment followed in the Willacoochee City Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Rhen Davis, Cameron Davis, Grayson Davis, James Mullis, Jake Dillingham, Caul Mullis, and Bobby Lott. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
