Mitchell Talmadge Adams

Mr. Mitchell "Buddy" Adams age 75 of Axson, Ga. passed away Wednesday morning at his home following an extended illness. Survivors include: Wife: Madeline Adams of Axson, Ga. 1 Son: Preston Adams of Pearson, Ga. 5 Daughters: Madie Rivers and husband Ricky of Axson, Ga. Pam Garrett and husband James of Ellijay, Ga. Barbara Metts and husband Michael of Mora, Ga. Mary Luke and husband Keith of Axson, Ga. Sylvia Josey and husband Ricky of Hazlehurst, Ga. 2 Brother: Bo Adams and wife Bonnie Sue of Cogdell, Ga. Charlie James Adams and wife Kitty of Axson, Ga. 2 Sisters: Dale Curry of Atlanta, Ga. Leola Strickland of Waycross, Ga. 27 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren, and several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Adams will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 18, 2011 at Indian Mound Baptist Church with Rev. Clayton Davis, Rev. Edgar Musgrove, and Rev. Hardy Crosby officiating. The interment will follow in Indian Mound Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 6-9 PM, Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. and also from 4-9 PM, Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Indian Mound Baptist Church in Millwood, Ga. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
