Erice Kelly White

August 15, 1949 — July 15, 2011

Mr. Erice Kelly White, age 6l of Axson, Ga. passed away Friday, July 15, 2011 at Satilla Hospice House in Waycross, Ga. following an extended illness. A native of Atkinson County, Ga., Mr. White was born on August 15, 1949, son of JD and Bernadette Adams White. He worked for many years as a gauger for PCC Airfoils until poor health forced his retirement. Mr. White was also a United States Army Veteran. Survivors include: Wife: Lila Giddens White of Axson, Ga. 1 Daughter: Kayla Lott and husband Ray of Pearson, Ga. 2 Sons: Macky White and wife Shannon of Willacoochee, Ga. David White and wife Paige of Pearson, Ga. 1 Sister: Carolyn Sirmans and husband Steve of Pearson, Ga. 2 Brothers: Buck White of Moss Point, Miss. Fred White and wife JoAnn of Newnan, Ga. 11 Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Graveside funeral services for Mr. White were held at 11:00 A. M. Monday, July 18, 2011 at Axson Cemetery with Bishop Steve Sirmans and Elder David White officiating. Special musical selections were "I'll Fly Away", "Go Rest High On That Mountain" and "Amazing Grace" rendered by soloist/pianist, John Lang. The interment followed in Axson Cemetery with Military Honors rendered by a U.S. Army Honor Guard Contingent from Ft. Stewart, Ga. Serving as active pallbearers were: Christopher Lee, Robert Giddens, Clee Sirmans, Shad Sirmans, Steve Sirmans, and Marcus Corbitt. Honorary pallbearers were grandsons, Trey Lott, Hunter White, McKinlee Lott, Maxwell White, and Braxton White. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
