Mr. Lloyd Elton Deen age 84 passed away Friday, December 23, 2011 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia following an short illness. Survivors include: Wife: Doris Vickers Deen of Pearson, Ga. 2 Daughters: June Deen of Atlanta, Ga. Ann Deen of Douglas, Ga. 1 Nephew: Kenneth Deen of Venice, Fl. 2 Nieces: Bonnie Deen of Atlanta, Ga. Dr'ee Mathews of Aubrendale, Fl. Funeral Services for Mr. Deen will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 26, 2011 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Axson, Ga. with Rev. Jack Chaney and Rev. William Pope officiating. The interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 6-9 P.M., Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. Mr. Deen will be placed in the church at 10:00 A.M. Monday to lie in state till the funeral hour. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
