Mr. Theopolis Lott age 74 of Kirkland, Ga. passed away Monday September 16, 2013 at his home in Kirkland following an extended illness. Born December 16, 1938 in Atkinson County, Mr. Lott was the son of the late Henry and Thelma Mancil Lott. He along with his son Kyle owned and operated Lott's Logging, Inc.. He loved to hunt and fish and was a charter member of the Alapaha River Hunting Club. He was preceded in death by a sister Ludell Chaney and three brothers, Collis Lott, Wallace Lott and Ralph Lott. Survivors Include: 2 Sons: Kyle Lott and wife Andrea of Pearson, GA. Steve Lott of Douglasville, GA. 2 Daughters: Bonnie Rowe and husband Mike of Pearson, GA. Lavonda Cravey and husband Jimmy of Pearson, GA. 2 Brothers: J.W. Lott of Manassas, VA. Paul Wayne Lott of Anchorage, Alaska 8 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Lott were held at 3:00 P. M. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at New Bethel Church with Rev. Edward Mathews and Rev. Rowan Sirmans officiating. Special musical selections included "Brush Arbor" rendered by Linwood Dean who accompanied himself on the guitar and "Precious Memories" as an instrumental by Linwood Dean Guitarist. Soft hymns for the Prelude and the Postlude were played by Phil Liles pianist. The interment followed in the New Bethel Church Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were: James Gore, Jr., Ricky Newmans, Larry Chaney, Ronnie Spivey, Michael Swails, David Moore, Sean Burch, and Randy Taft. Honorary pallbearers were: Mrs. Imogene Haskins, Mrs. Thelma Darley, James Joyce, Quillan Taft, Clifford Taft, Quinton Dillingham, Mann Corbitt, and John Rowe.
