James Elijah Benefield

Mr. James Elijah (J.E.) Benefield, age 68, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness. Survivors include: Daughter: Peggy Bennett and husband Daniel of Pearson, Ga. 2 Brothers: Eddie Benefield, Jr. of Pearson, Ga. Josh Benefield of North Carolina 2 Sisters: Margaret Douglas of Pearson, Ga. Shirley Mae Lott of Pearson, Ga. 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Graveside Service for Mr. Benefield will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Edward Mathews officiating. The interment will follow in Sunnyside Church Cemetery. Family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga.
