Linda Sutton Reliford

Mrs. Linda Faye Sutton Reliford, age 55 of Douglas, Ga., formerly of Pearson, Ga., passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 in Axson, Ga. following a short illness. A native of Atkinson County, Mrs. Reliford was born, November 11, 1958, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton and Josephine Morgan Sutton. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Mrs. Reliford was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Reliford, Jr. and one brother, Robbie Sutton. Survivors include: Son: Michael Hardee and wife Randa of Nicholls, Ga. 4 Daughters: Angela Sutton of Axson, Ga. Audrey Sutton of Pearson, Ga. Karen Reliford and husband Washington of Douglas, Ga. Tina Reliford 3 Brothers: Wayne Sutton and wife Kathleen of Axson, Ga. Larry Sutton and wife Pauline of Axson, Ga. Billy Joe Sutton of Axson, Ga. 10 Grandchildren: Jim Gilbreath Angel Lee Serina Gilbreath Ashley Fussell Zachery Hall Hillary Wilson Saranan Hardee Logan Hardee Bioleta Reynoso Tyler Smith Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Mrs. Reliford were held, Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Pearson Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Hardy Crosby officiating. Special musical selections included, "Ships of Heaven", "Lead Me Home" and "Amazing Grace" rendered by c.d. and "Go Rest High on that Mountain" rendered by Mrs. Reliford's granddaughter, Saranan Hardee accompanied by Joey Fussell on the guitar. Soft music for the Prelude and Postlude was provided by Mandy Bazemore, pianist. Serving as active pallbearers were: Joey Fussell, Ashley Fussell, Charles Sutton, Jim Gilbreath, Lonnie Griffis and Brian Sutton. Serving as honorary pallbearers were: Billy Joe Sutton, Mark Sutton and Jamie Sutton.
