Patricia Ann "Pat" Burch

Mrs. Patricia Ann "Pat" Burch age 64 of Axson, Ga. passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the home of her daughter following an extended illness. Mrs. Burch was born March 25, l950 in Jacksonville, Fl. to Arthur George Lott, Sr. and Julia Marie Bazemore Lott. She had made her in Atkinson County for most of her life. She worked at South Georgia College (now South Georgia State College) for forty one years as an assistant librarian. She was a member of the Axson Church of God of Prophecy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Wilkerson and two brothers, Art Lott and Arvin Lott. Survivors include: Husband: Jerry Burch of Axson, Ga. 1 Daughter: Julie Burch Horton and husband Michael of Pearson, Ga. 2 Grandsons: Riley and Alex Horton 1 Niece: Sheryl Lewis and husband Lee of Willacoochee, Ga. 1 Nephew: Boodle Wilkerson and wife Karen of Jacksonville, Fl. Brother in Law: Freddie Wilkerson of Willacoochee, Ga. Special Friend: Sue White of Pearson, Ga. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Burch were held Friday, February 13, 2015 at 2:00 P. M. at the Axson Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Chris Boyd and Bishop Steve Sirmans officiating. The Eulogy was given by Mrs. Sue White. Special musical selections included "Farther Along" by cd sung by Brad Paisley and "Amazing Grace" by the attending congregation with Loretta Boyd accompanying at the piano. Soft music for the Prelude and the Postlude was played by Michelle Howell pianist. The interment followed in the Axson Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were: Freddie Wilkerson, Boodle Wilkerson, Charles Lott, Silas Lott, Johnny Burch, and Larry Burch.
