Linda Sue McDonald

Mrs. Linda Sue McDonald, age 61, of Pearson, Ga., passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Jacksonville, Fl. following an extended illness. Born December 2, l953 in Irwin County, Mrs. McDonald was the daughter of the late Dan and Thelma Borkin McMillan. She had made her home in Atkinson County for most of her life, was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by a son Roy David Saul McDonald. Survivors include: Husband: Roy McDonald of Pearson, Ga. 2 Sons: Simon McDonald of Pearson, Ga. Matthew McDonald of Pearson, Ga. 2 Brothers: Grady McMillan of Nashville, Ga. Thomas McMillan of Omega, Ga. 4 Sisters: Brenda Giddens of Tifton, Ga. Pat Harris of Nashville, Ga. Shirley Maton of Tfton, Ga. Sarah Evelyn McMillan of Lakeland, Ga. 3 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchild, and several Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives also survive. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. McDonald were held at 1:00 P. M. Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery with Rev. Sim Youngblood officiating. The interment followed in Holy Family Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were: Roy McDonald, Matthew McDonald, Simon McDonald, Lloyd McDonald, Laura McDonald and Carmen Rowland.
