Louise Burch

Mrs. Louise Burch, age 85, of Axson, GA. passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross, GA. following an extended illness. A native of Atkinson County Mrs. Burch was born February 7, l930 daughter of the late Hancel and Enez Spikes Luke. She was a homemaker and her church membership was at Hargraves New Congregational Methodist Church in Millwood. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Raymond Burch, a sister Mary Jane Joyner and 2 brothers, J. E. Luke and Barney Luke. Survivors include: Brother-In-Law and Sister-In Law: Melvin Burch and wife Lounell of Axson, GA. Several Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives also survive. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Burch were held Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Axson Cemetery with Rev. Clayton Davis officiating. Special music included "Amazing Grace" rendered by the attending congregation. The interment followed in Axson Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were: Locky Joyner, Tony Joyner, Zack Clayton, Bryan Burch Byron Burch, and T. J. Reliford.
