Mrs. Della Palmer Barlow, age 87 of Pearson, Ga. passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Shady Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center in Douglas, Ga. after an extended illness. A native of Atkinson County, Mrs. Barlow was born May 11, l928, daughter of Elias and Emma Taylor Palmer. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew J. Barlow, a son, Ronnie Barlow, a grandson, Andy Barlow and a great grandson, Brendon Rish. Survivors include: 4 Sons: Irby Barlow and wife Willie Mae of Pearson, Ga. Bill Barlow of Pearson, Ga. Ralph Barlow and wife Darleen of Pearson, Ga. Wendell Barlow and wife Sheila of Axson, Ga. 2 Daughters: Marion Tanner and husband Zeke of Pearson, Ga. Vickie Campbell and husband Robbin of Pearson, Ga. 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other relative survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Barlow were held Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Fields and Rev. Lonnie Spikes officiating. Special musical selections were “The Sun’s Coming up in the Morning” and “Precious Memories” rendered by Tammy Wood. Soft music for the Prelude and Postlude was by cd. The interment followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were: Corey Barlow, Kirk Barlow, Johnny L. Tanner, Stanley McClelland, Stacey McClelland and Glen Arrington. Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
