Mr. Boyd O’Berry, age 63, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at his home in Pearson, Ga.. A native of Clinch County, Mr. O’Berry was born June 7, l952, son of Eddie O’Berry and Mildred Mixon Steedley. He worked at First String Modular Buildings in Pearson as a supervisor until poor health forced him to retire. He lived in Atkinson County for most of his life and attended Cornerstone Church. Survivors include: Wife: Ann O’Berry of Pearson, Ga. 2 Sons: Mickey Mizell of Axson, Ga. Rodney Mizell of Pearson, Ga. Daughter: Sherry Duque and husband Ricky of Axson, Ga. Brother: Roger O’Berry of Douglas, Ga. 2 Grandchildren: Padrick Duque and wife Sha of Alma, Ga. Marion Duque of Axson, Ga. Great-Grandson: Greyson Duque Several Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives also survive. Funeral services for Mr. O’Berry were held Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Cornerstone Church with Rev. Allen Arowood and Bishop Steve Sirmans officiating. Special musical selections were “Lord, Lead Me Home” and “Not Afraid” rendered by Michael Johnson, soloist and pianist. Soft music for the Prelude and Postlude was played by Michael Johnson pianist. The interment followed in Hargraves Chapel Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were: Nelson Corbitt, Wesley Corbitt, Keith Bazemore, Kevin Davis, Derrick Tanner and Mickey Braddy.. Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
