Sage Spires

Mr. Sage Spires, age 78 of Broxton, Ga. passed away Thursday, April 07, 2016 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. after an extended illness.   A native of Coffee County, Mr. Spires was bon January 3, l938 son of the late Warren and Georgia A. Spires. He had made his home in Broxton for many years.  He worked for many years in the turpentine business and agriculture.  He was of the Baptist Faith.   Survivors include: Son: Billy Ray Spires of Willacoochee, Ga.   Best Friend: David Samples of Broxton, Ga.   Graveside services for Mr. Spires were held Monday, April 11, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Deberry Church Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Hollis officiating. The internment followed in the Deberry Church Cemetery   Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
