Ms. Chrystal Ann Harper, age 39 of Pearson, Ga. passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016. A native of Hahira, Ga., Chrystal was born July 23, l977, daughter of Joann Troupe Harper and the late Thomas Harper. She had made her home in Atkinson County for most of her life. She graduated with an Associates Degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Wiregrass Georgia Technical College and had worked for many years in the nursing profession. She had just recently returned to college to complete her requirements to become a Registered Nurse. She loved to fish and be around her family. She attended the Church of God in Fitzgerald, Ga.. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Elzie Troupe, her cousin, Gene Troupe and several aunts and uncles. Survivors include: Mother: Joann Harper of Pearson, Ga. 3 Daughters: Megan Sutton of Pearson, Ga. Courtney Sutton of Pearson, Ga. Kayley Sutton of Pearson, Ga. Brother: Keith Harper and wife Anna of Rebecca, Ga. Granddaughter: Raelynn Grace Sutton Nephew: Deacon Harper Niece: Josie Harper Several aunts, uncles, and other relatives also survive. Graveside services for Ms. Harper were held Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at the Lax Cemetery in Lax, Ga. with Rev. Dwain Joiner officiating. Special musical selections included “Over the Rainbow”, “Help me say Goodbye”, “If I Die Young” and “Go Rest High on That Mountain” rendered by cd. The interment followed in the Lax Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were: Tim Troupe, James Troupe, Chad Troupe, Ryan Troupe, Jared Troupe, Cody Vickers and Joe Tanner. Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga.was in charge of the arrangements.
