Ulysses Shasta McCranie

Mr. Ulysses Shasta McCranie, age 93 of Willacoochee and St. Simons, Ga. passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 at his home in St. Simons, Ga. after an extended illness.   Survivors include: Son: Judson McCranie and wife Elizabeth of Brunswick, Ga.   2 Daughters: Cynthia Ellen McCranie of St. Simons Island, Ga.                        Mary Rich of Marietta, Ga.   4 Grandchildren: Amanda Rich, Emma Rich, Randolph Rich, and Anne McCranie.   Several Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives also survive.    Graveside services for Mr. McCranie will be Monday, August 22, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Willacoochee City Cemetery with Ms. Mary McCranie Rich, Dr. Andrew Jackson, Mr. George McCranie IV, and Ms. Cynthia McCranie officiating. The interment will follow in the Willacoochee City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Willacoochee Senior Citizen Center. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
