Mr. Henry “Peanut” Browning, age 61 of Pearson, Ga. passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at his home in Pearson, Ga. following an extended illness. A native of Coffee County, Mr. Browning was born December 7, l954 to the late Carol Fish Fletcher and Clayton Browning. He lived and worked in Pearson for many years before moving to Brunswick where he worked with Georgia Pacific in Sterling, Ga.. He later moved back to Pearson where he was currently working at Huey’s Welding Inc. in Millwood as a master welder and fabricator until poor health forced him to retire. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, owning many different motorcycles through the years, but his favorite was Harley Davidson. He loved to ride his Harley and often you would see him riding the roads with many others in the community. Survivors include: Soul mate: Audrey Browning of Pearson, Ga. Son: David Browning and wife April of Winterville, Ga. Daughter: Carrie Browning Guth and husband Stephen of Jacksonville, Fl. Brother: Randy Browning and wife Audrey of Pearson, Ga. 3 Sisters: Sheila Cady and husband Danny of Douglas, Ga. Brenda Browning of Pearson, Ga. Lisa Gillis and husband Andy of Douglas, Ga. 6 Grandchildren: Kember Browning, Grace Browning, Gage Norris, Dalton Norris, Allie Drawdy, and Grayson Drawdy. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Browning were held Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Sweetwater Cemetery with Rev. Hardy Crosby officiating. Special music included “Sweet Bye and Bye” and “In the Still of the Night” presented by cd. The interment followed in the Sweetwater Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were: David Browning, Randy Browning, Andy Gillis, Phil Liles, Kenny Vining and Wes Cady. Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
