Thomas Lamar Vining

Mr. Thomas Vining, age 58 of Douglas, Ga. passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga.   A native of Coffee County, Mr. Vining was born September 3, l958, son of Earl and Eva Wilkerson Vining. He had made his home in the Coffee, Atkinson Co. area all his life and was a carpenter by trade. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Wayne Vining and Orville Vining, a sister, Edna Vining and his former wife, Tammy Jacobs.   Survivors include: 2 Sons: Timothy Charles Ryals of Nahunta, Ga.                Cody Lamar Vining of Douglas, Ga.   3 Daughters: Janna Brooke Williams of Savannah, Ga.                      Christy Nicole Vining of Douglas, Ga.                      Haley Belinda Kight of Hazlehurst, Ga.   Sister: Ludell Arnold and husband Larry of Pearson, Ga.   2 Brothers: Charlie Vining and wife Julia of Pearson, Ga.                    Willis “Pee Wee” Vining of Pearson, Ga.   6 Grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.   Graveside Services for Mr. Vining were held Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Royals Cemetery with Rev. Clyde Purvis officiating. Special music included, “Go Rest on That Mountain”, “Seven Spanish Angels” and “One Wing In The Fire” by cd. The interment followed in Royals Cemetery.   Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
