Mrs. Dawn Marie Sloan, age 56 of Pearson, Ga. passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga.. A native of Milford, Ma., Mrs. Sloan was the daughter of Robert and Barbara Sardell Garrity. She had made her home here for the past several years but had previously lived in Arizona and Nevada. She was a homemaker and attended Saving Grace Ministry when she could. She enjoyed watching movies, spending time with her grandchildren, friends and family. Survivors include: 3 Daughters: Sareah Glotkowski of Pearson, Ga. Cassie Griffis and husband Chris of Douglas, Ga. Leona Floyd and husband Neil of Willacoochee, Ga. 2 Brothers: Bob Garrity and wife Susan of Pearson, Ga. Jay Garrity and wife Elizabeth of Powder Springs, Ga. Sister: Susan Miller and husband Michael of M.A. 5 Grandchildren: Sariaha Glotkowski, Kash Griffis, Karliegh Floyd, Zayden McCullar, and Legend Griffis. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. Visitation for Mrs. Sloan was held Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga.. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
